ASSESSMENTS: Scholars will participate in a variety of assessments. Some assessments are mandatory by state and/or federal statutes. Below are our recent Report Card from the Nevada Department of Education outlining our achievement data, as well as our Test Security Plan. Failure to adhere to the plan will result in an invalidated result for students, and consequences, including loss of position, for personnel. Smarter Balanced Summative Assessment (3-5th Grades): April 29 - May 9, 2024
Science Assessment (5th Grade): April 29 - May 9, 2023
WIDA (Kinder - 5th): January -February, 2024
NWEA MAP (Kinder-5th), 3x Annually: August 14-17, 2023; December 4-7, 2023; May 2024.

Title III Funding and Expenditures: Nevada Rise Academy dedicates funding for a program and professional development to introduce world languages to improve student achievement for English learners. We also use Title III funds to facilitate parent workshops.
